The fortieth

For my fortieth vintage, I wanted to take the opposite position from everything I had learned during my professional life.
Advised by Philippe Pacalet, this syrah and grenache vintage, stamped by feet, turned to wine without yeast or sulfites, was aged 24 months in barrels, and then manually bottled after light sulfitation.
This is a return to nature, to authenticity, to the source.

Sustained sour cherry robe, with tremendous intensity and garnet reflections.
The first nose offers a very intense bouquet riding on red fruit aromas. It then opens onto more preserved notes and aromas of black olive and toast.
It has a powerful and balanced mouth sensation, with aromas of black berries and a slightly licorice finish.
